Alyse Eady Biography

Alyse Eady is an American news anchor and beauty pageant titleholder. She was Miss Arkansas in 2010. Eady was named first runner-up at the 2011 Miss America pageant, which was won by Miss Nebraska 2010 Teresa Scanlan. After she was born, her parents called her  Alyse Cynthia Eady.

 Eady was an adopted child who had a difficult childhood. Both of her foster parents were ill as she was growing up. Due to this, she had to take up the role of a caretaker.

Her father Lewis went blind, and her mother Lady had lupus. Her mother had to undergo multiple surgeries when Eady was younger. She is very thankful, loving and caring towards her parents and often shares her love through pictures on social media.

Her spouse was a popular guy in his college time and many girls were crushed on him. And, they say she is lucky but she is not less. Also, Eady is more capable to be a wife of Lemmond.

Before Patrick was a baseball player and the couple grew together. Although they didn’t share their love story, the couple exchanged their vows in Pulaski Heights United Methodist Church. Also, they celebrated their honeymoon in Mexico. The lovable pairs welcomed their first child in October 2018, named Sophia Mae. She was born with a weight of 8 lbs 7oz.

During high school, she worked as a tutor for the local Boys and Girls Club. She graduated from Ouachita Baptist University with a Bachelor of Arts in Mass Communications and Speech Communication.

In 2004, she won the title of Miss Teen Arkansas-America 2004, which is currently known as Miss Arkansas’ Outstanding Teen. She performed in the Variety Act as a special guest during one of the Preliminary Competitions at Miss America 2007 including her yodeling abilities.

In 2010, she competed at Miss Arkansas as Miss South Central Arkansas and also won a Preliminary Talent Award and the Coleman Overall Talent Award at the pageant. Her platform was the Boys and Girls Club of America and her talent is a Variety Act. She was required to sing and do ventriloquism to the song “I Want to Be a Cowboy’s Sweetheart.” Her act also included yodeling. The act was called “daring and skillful” by The Washington Post.

At the Miss America pageant in 2011, she was named the first runner-up and won $25,000 in scholarships. She also appeared in 2011on the Late Night Show With David Letterman. Eady previously worked as a news anchor for TEGNA-owned KTHV-TV, the local CBS-affiliated television station in Little Rock, Arkansas. In August 2016, Eady joined WAGA-TV in Atlanta, GA as a morning news anchor.
