Emily Havea is an Australian actor, singer and dancer. She is known for her roles in Wentworth, Harrow and The Secrets She Keeps. Havea grew up in Bendigo and attended Girton Grammar School. She always loved singing but had no plans to study acting until she was in her late teens.

Havea decided to get into musical theatre at the age of 17, after her mother took her to a performance of Priscilla the Desert Queen. She began to study musical theatre and dance, where a teacher encouraged her to act. Havea auditioned and was accepted to the National Institute of Dramatic Arts (NIDA). Since graduating in 2014, Havea has worked in theatre, music, film and TV.

Her theatre credits include “Julius Caesar,” “A Midsummer Night’s Dream,” “BU21,” “Dogfight,” “Sing To Me,” and “Brown Skin Girl.” Her TV credits include seasons six and seven of the Australian prison drama “Wentworth” and “Growing Up Gracefully”. Film credits include “Stem” and the web series “Resting Pitch Face.”
