He is the child of psychologist and preschool teacher Berta Luca Hoyos. Jorge Mario Villada, his father, is an arts professor at a university.

At the moment, Manuela Villada Hoyos, his sister, is studying graphic design. He enrolled in the University of Antioquia’s Music Extension Courses, which were held in Medelln.

Currently, Feid is one of Reggaeton’s most popular performers. He is making his impact on the world music industry with two Billboard Hot 100 songs and a current globe tour.

Feid began his musical career as a songwriter, working frequently with some of the top Latin music artists, such as Prince Royce, Nicky Jam, and J Balvin.

However, those days are long gone because Feid will headline THE STAGE at this year’s SXSW and launch a 29-city tour of the US (after the success of his 2022 US tour, which sold out in mere seconds).

The 30-year-old musician’s creative skills brought him acclaim and accolades, but his true calling was as a performer.

His collaboration with J Balvin on the 2016 song “Que Raro” (58M+ Spotify streams) received a ton of support and peaked at number one on the Billboard charts, ultimately placing him on the map as a musician.

Feid began his professional career in Colombia but quickly rose to fame abroad in both Spanish- and non-Spanish-speaking countries.

The US, Italy, France, and Canada are among the top 30 countries on his YouTube channel by monthly views. Mexico is his top country in terms of Spotify monthly listeners with 7.4M, and the US is just behind it with 4.1M.

The US is also his second-largest Instagram market, indicating that US fans aren’t just interested in streaming his music but also in keeping up with his professional and personal news.
