James Maddison wife-English professional footballer, James Daniel Maddison was born on November 23rd, 1996 in Coventry in United Kingdom.

Maddison was born and raised in Coventry, West Midlands. He has Irish ancestry through a grandparent. Maddison has a height of 1.75 m and 73kg.

Both the England national team and Premier League club Leicester City use Maddison as an attacking midfielder. Before moving on to Norwich City in 2016, he began his career with Coventry City. He was Aberdeen’s loanee during the 2016–17 campaign in the Scottish Premiership.

Maddison was chosen to the EFL Team of the Season and the Championship PFA Team of the Year in his first season back at Norwich. In 2018, he signed with Leicester City of the Premier League.

Maddison made his senior squad debut in 2019, and from 2017 to 2019, he earned England under-21 caps.

Maddison joined the Coventry City youth team and was a member of the first team squad in 2013–14, however she did not play. In an August 2014 League Cup loss to Cardiff City, he made his debut as a substitute.

In a 3-1 home loss to Bristol City, Maddison made his league debut once more as a replacement. The next game, against Oldham Athletic, was his first league start.

Maddison signed his first professional contract in November 2014 for a period of three and a half years, however he missed the majority of the rest of the 2014–15 campaign after getting dismissed following a Boxing Day loss to Doncaster Rovers and then suffering a back injury.

On February 1, 2016, Maddison signed a three-and-a-half-year contract with Premier League team Norwich City for an undisclosed sum, however he was promptly loaned back to Coventry City for the balance of the 2015–16 campaign.

On August 23, 2016, Maddison made his first team debut for Norwich in an EFL Cup match against his old team, Coventry. Maddison began the 2016–17 season on loan with Aberdeen in the Scottish Premiership on August 31, 2016.

He started and scored in the following game, a 3-1 victory over Dundee, after making his debut as a substitute against Inverness Caledonian Thistle in the first game. On September 25, he defeated Rangers and won in sudden death.

On June 20, 2018, Maddison committed to a five-year deal with Premier League club Leicester City for an unknown sum that is rumored to be close to £20 million.

On August 18, in a 2-0 victory over Wolverhampton Wanderers, he scored his first goal in the Premier League. Following up on his strong debut for the team, he later scored back-to-back set-piece goals in the Premier League, against AFC Bournemouth and Huddersfield Town, respectively.

Maddison goal against Manchester City on September 27, 2020, in a 5-2 victory for the team earned him the title of Premier League Goal of the Month.

Maddison was a member of the England under-21 team in March 2016, however he was injured and was unable to participate. In a 2019 UEFA European Under-21 Championship qualifier against Ukraine, he made his debut after receiving his first call-up to the England under-21 team in November 2017.

Maddison made his debut for England on June 24 in a 3-3 draw with Croatia at the San Marino Stadium after being named to the 23-man squad for the 2019 UEFA European Under-21 Championship on May 27.

Due to illness, Maddison withdrew from the senior team in October 2019. Brendan Rodgers, the team manager, justified his actions despite the fact that he was later photographed entering a casino.

In the 56th minute of England’s 7-0 victory over Montenegro in UEFA Euro 2020 qualification on November 14, Maddison made his international debut for his country, replacing Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain. He was reinstated into the 26-man England team for the 2022 FIFA World Cup after a three-year absence.
