Meet Margaret And Skip Baszler

Shayna Baszler parents-American professional wrestler, kickboxer, and former mixed martial artist, Shayna Andrea Baszler was born on August 8, 1980.

Baszler was born in Sioux Falls, South Dakota in the United States of America to Margaret Baszler and Skip Baszler.

On her mother’s side, she is primarily Chinese, while her father is primarily German. Baszler studied religious studies at MidAmerica Nazarene University in Olathe, Kansas.

Baszler is now a WWE performer, appearing on the Raw brand. Baszler is a former record-tying three-time WWE Women’s Tag Team Champion as well as a former two-time and longest-combined reigning NXT Women’s Champion.

Josh Barnett, a former UFC fighter, taught Baszler mixed martial arts (MMA), and Billy Robinson taught him to catch wrestling.

She competed in her first professional mixed martial arts match in 2006, and in the years that followed, she rose to prominence for her use of the hammerlock submission set-up while on her back, which she has employed to finish off a number of opponents, including Roxanne Modafferi.

She called the submit, which she developed in training, the “Shwing” in an audio interview on the Sherdog Radio Network.

Baszler was signed by the UFC in 2013 for their reality television program The Ultimate Fighter; she later competed in two professional fights (0-2) for the organization.

She was fired from the UFC in 2015, and the following year she began a career in professional wrestling while once more working with Barnett. Baszler’s entire MMA record is 15 wins, 11 losses, and 13 submission victories.

During the World Wonder Ring Stardom’s American tour in Covina, California in October 2015, Baszler worked two events.

She first teamed up with Brittany Wonder and Datura in a defeat to Oedo Tai (Act Yasukawa, Kris Wolf, and Kyoko Kimura), and two days later he made an unsuccessful attempt to challenge Cheerleader Melissa for the GRPW Lady Luck Championship.

In January 2017, she took part in the promotion once more, this time touring Japan. On January 3, she made her professional debut, defeating Kagetsu, Kyoko Kimura, and Sumie Sakai by teaming up with Jungle Kyona and Mayu Iwatani.

The next day, she defeated Iwatani, Kairi Hojo, and Konami by working with Nixon Newell and Kay Lee Ray. The next day, she competed in a triple threat match against Viper and Himomi Mimura, which Viper ultimately won.

She participated in a third triple threat match on January 15 and won by defeating Jungle Kyona and Momo Watanabe.

On January 29, she defeated Kagetsu, Kris Wolf, and Viper by working with Deonna Purrazzo and Christi Jaynes. Baszler unsuccessfully contested Io Shirai for the World of Stardom Championship on February 23.
