Post Malone children-American rapper and singer, Austin Richard Post was born on July 4th, 1995 in Syracuse, New York.

He was raised by his father, Richard Post, and his stepmother, Jodie. His father had been a DJ in his youth and introduced Malone to many different genres of music including hip-hop, country, and rock.

After Malone’s father was appointed the Dallas Cowboys’ concessions man ager, the family relocated to Grapevine, Texas, when Malone was nine years old.

In 2010, Malone started learning how to play the guitar. He went to an audition with the American band Crown the Empire, but was turned down when his instrument’s strings snapped. He attributed the video game Guitar Hero with sparking his initial interest in learning the guitar.

In June 2017, Malone performed a DJ performance at Emo Nite in Los Angeles, California, where he played songs from the American alternative rock band My Chemical Romance. Malone has always loved alternative rock music.

Malone claims that he originally entered the music industry while playing in a heavy metal band. He claims that shortly after, he switched to softer rock and hip-hop before starting to explore with FL Studio.

Malone is a rapper, singer, songwriter, and record producer from the United States. Malone, who is renowned for his diverse vocal range, has won praise for fusing the hip-hop, pop, R&B, and trap genres and subgenres. His stage name was created using a rap name generator and his birth name.

Malone started his music career in 2011, and in 2015, his debut single, “White Iverson,” which peaked at number 14 on the US Billboard Hot 100, helped him acquire popularity.

In 2016, Malone’s debut album Stoney, which featured the platinum hit “Congratulations” (with Quavo), was released. It set a record for the most weeks (77) spent at the top of the US Billboard Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums list.

Beerbongs & Bentleys, his second album, arrived at the top of the US Billboard 200 in 2018 and broke numerous streaming records.

It was nominated for Album of the Year at the 61st Grammy Awards and featured the US number-one singles “Rockstar” (with 21 Savage) and “Psycho” (featuring Ty Dolla Sign).

Malone’s third album, Hollywood’s Bleeding (2019), was his third number one, and the album was his second number one.

The song “Sunflower” (co-written by Malone and Swae Lee) served as the lead single and promotional track for the soundtrack to the 2018 movie Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse.

Its second single, “Circles,” broke the previous record for the most weeks (39) spent in the top ten of the Hot 100, peaking at number one.

In June 2022, his fourth album, Twelve Carat Toothache, was published. The singles “I Like You (A Happier Song)” (with Doja Cat) and “One Right Now” (containing The Weeknd) both reached the US top ten.

With over 80 million albums sold, Malone is one of the best-selling musicians. He has won 10 Billboard Music Awards, three American Music Awards, one MTV Video Music Award, and nine Grammy Award nominations.

He is the first solo artist to top the Rap Airplay and Adult Contemporary charts, and “Circles” set a record for the longest solo artist ascent to number one on the Adult Contemporary chart (41 weeks). He also holds several other Billboard chart records.
