Simon Pegg was born on 14 February 1970. His birth name is Simon John Beckingham. His birth place is in Brockworth in England. 

Regarding his educational background, he attended Castle Hill Primary School, Brockworth Comprehensive Secondary School, and The King’s School, Gloucester.

At age 16, he moved to Stratford-upon-Avon, Warwickshire. He studied English literature and theatre at Stratford-upon-Avon College. He graduated with a BA in Theatre, Film, and Television from the University of Bristol in 1991.
